I am 100% certain that I heard Battles mention "Juice B Crypts", maybe in an old interview or an Instagram post. I can't find it at the moment though, that is not a name you would forget! Anyone else remember hearing it before?

I'm almost 100% certain that it was a caption to this image, which has since been deleted from their Instagram...Hmm...
Long-awaited answer to who will do the art after Dave's departure: the Juice B Crypts cover was done by Andrew Kuo based on his painting. https://twitter.com/earlboykin.../1159253274836570114
What do you think of the band live now they are a duo? I saw them last week and felt the drum are now heavier in the mix and have lost some of their dynamism. Williams now has to create everything else and the connection between what is heard and played seems more distant.
I haven't watched any videos - I am avoiding spoilers until I hear the album - but a reviewer of the show last week made it sound like it was the best thing he'd seen from them since their Ty days...
It could have been the way the venue mixed the sound. The Yabba did sound great. My favourite Battles is still live circa EP C B EP.
Saw them a few weeks ago, amazing show. Inevitably it was pretty different to their La Di Da Di tour given that Dave has gone, but I think they've nailed it with the new material, especially with getting some guest vocals. They packed a lot in and it was pretty tight, I guess because their setup is now simpler there's fewer problems getting everyone in sync and such. I will miss the slower-building loops from Dave but overall super excited to hear the new album and re-listen to everything at studio quality.
Thanks for the report!
They announced a South American tour today that begins in 2 days. Wonder why the short notice?
They announced today 3 dates in Japan in November.
Does anyone know what Dave is up to now? not strictly Battles-related anymore I guess but I'm curious to know if he moved on to another music project or something
